Meet Alix
From the age of 5 years old, Alix discovered a passion for movement and physical challenges. She first began as a competitive gymnast, then transitioned over to competitive dancing in her early teens. It was only during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns that she stumbled upon the art of pole dancing and immediately fell in love with its dynamism, versatility and discipline. Alix quickly realized that her extensive training in gymnastics and competitive dance was a perfect precursor to the challenges that bending and twisting on a pole can impose on the human body. She was determined to push her flexibility, develop her musicality, and expand her creativity like never before to create her signature style in pole dancing.
Today, Alix maintains her drive to seek out new challenges and experiences. She has participated in two pole dancing competitions, namely the PSO Liberty in Philadelphia and CPAC in Montreal, where she employed a mix of pole tricks, intricate choreography and flow to award her top finalist rankings among other talented pole dance competitors. She now enjoys helping other aspiring pole dancers to create and perfect their own routines so that they too can give memorable and unique performances.
Alix is extremely passionate about what she does. From wanting to pursue her studies in the health science field, she then decided to reroute her life path to become a pole artist, instructor, and performer. Her primary goal is to share her knowledge and passion with as many pole dancers as possible and to inspire a new generation of dancers to look at pole not just as a performance but as a legitimate art form that can be appreciated by the masses.
